Shopaholic
"Your total comes to $53.70."
"Your spending more money on more clothes Janey?"
"Yeah, but it is just a couple of things and they are on sale and sooooo cute!"
This is a typical conversation on the weekends Jane Williams got paid...even some of the ones she didn't. It's not that she is constantly spending large amounts of money, she was actually quite good at saving, it was just something about getting an adorable new dress or pair of stilletos that made Jane feel great. She also loved all the compliments her outfits recieved from friends and strangers. Every friend of Jane's knew she was always the go to girl when they needed help with something to wear or a great outfit for an event. Her motto was, "Every store deserves a look and if it's on sale and looks good, buy it!"
"You couldn't possibly fit one more article of clothing into your closet or drawers! They will literally explode! Why do you need more clothes anyway? It's not like you are going to run out anytime soon!"
Jane's sister Elizabeth was always reminding Jane about the amount of clothes and accessories she owned even though borrowing Jane's clothes was one of her favorite things to do.
"Well I will just have to turn my whole room into a huge closet and sleep in your bed! Besides when you find a great deal you need it, even if you have more than all the stores in the mall combined!"
The truth was Jane knew her sister was right, she didn't need all of the stuff she was buying, she just couldn't stop! It was an addiction, a strong over powering addiction that Jane just couldn't overcome! Jane was a shopaholic!
